- Born in Seberang Perai Selatan Pulau Pinang on 27th September 1956 from the second wife of Hj Abdullah Plastine. First from the mother and seventh in the family. Obtained primary education from National Primary School in Sungai Acheh complemented by religious education from Madrasah Al-Falahiah Sungai Bakau, Seberang Perai selatan.Graduate as mechanical engineer and trained at postgraduate level as Further Education Teachers at Garnett College, University of London.
